OUR PROCESS
STEP 1
SET THE TONE
The most important stage of the custom process is understanding what inspires you and the design you have in mind. We’ll work together in breathing life into your inspiration and marrying your unique styles
as one.
STEP 2
What really sets us apart from other designers is the depth of research that goes into each custom design. Our signature "Style Guide" is a document we created to help solidify the mood you want to convey. From location influence and careful selection of typography to pattern, color and texture incorporation, the results are intentional with design that wows.

STEP 3
CONVEY YOUR STYLE
Once we have finalized your guides and have a design direction to proceed in, you'll receive a beginning vision! Your beginning vision will move way into formal proofing which will be received over a 4 week period. Over this time we allow 2-3 rounds of
critiques.
STEP 4
When you’re 100% happy with your mockups, we’ll send you a final approval and we move into print production of all pieces.
LETS GET PRINTED!
STEP 5
(HOLD PLEASE)
There are a ton of moving parts within our studio and our partners studios during this phase (we'll get into this later) but we ask for 3 weeks from print to receipt of all items to give adequate time for us to assemble and ensure everything is just perfect.

PRINT METHODS
FLAT
With flat printing (also known as digital printing) ink is transferred to paper by a digital printing press. The ink lays down flat on the paper leaving a smooth finish. The resulting wedding invitation can feature an unlimited number of ink colors, making it the perfect choice to reproduce watercolor illustrations or a photograph. Choose any number of ink colors to print on white paper, or upgrade to print a single ink color or white ink on colored paper.
Flat printing is the most cost-effective printing method I offer. However, you cannot achieve a metallic or shimmery look with flat print inks. And although it's offered on paper with a soft texture, the ink itself lays flat on the paper. (It is not pressed in like letterpress or foil)
FOIL
Foiling is the process of adhering foil to paper using heat. Your design will be etched into a quarter inch slab of pure copper, and then locked into our hot foil press ready for printing. We’ll then begin stamping your design with a foil color of your choice, into extra thick cotton paper. Foil comes in a range of colors and shades, the most popular being metallic gold, silver, and holographic.
LETTERPRESS
Letterpress is the process of applying ink to paper using a polymer plate with your design on a letterpress machine. If you’re looking to add more color to your suite, and also want depth and texture to your design, letterpress is definitely for you. We can use multiple ink colors on each piece of stationery, and each color will be hand mixed in our partners studio to match the Pantone guide.
